• How can I know my cache sizes? dmesg | grep cache
 
• My CPU is the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz:
L1 I cache: 32K, L1 D cache: 32K
L2 cache: 4096K
for each core

Secure Copy (scp)

Copy the file "foo" from local host to a remote host :

scp foobar.txt your_username@remotehost.edu:/some/remote/directory

Finding files

Counting files
ls -laR | wc -l
